Cooker & oven repair — your questions
My oven heats unevenly or burns on one side — why?
Uneven browning usually means a heating element is failing or the fan has weakened. Replacing it with a genuine part brings back true, even heat — you'll notice on your next bake.
My gas hob won't ignite — can you fix it?
Yes. Clicking with no flame, or a flame that dies when you release the knob, points to the igniter or the flame-failure safety valve. Gas work needs certified hands — and ours are.
